My friend Lynn and I started International club a couple of years ago. It has always been a fun activity for after school and our students love it.This year for New Year's we decided to make "Wishing stars"...the idea is to make a thousand of them so that we can make a wish and, according to tradition, this would come true :). Our Asian students are so wonderfully talented!! This is the vase I keep in my classroom and while kids are reading they're making stars at the same time. I have found this activity quite helpful when it comes to discipline!
