W.E.L.P.A. test suspended!!!
Wait what? Yes. Tuesday our Listening test went by perfectly fine. Too good to be true. No mistakes except two absent students. On Wednesday we were getting ready to start our second subtest, Reading, when I get a phone call from the Principal telling me to "stop the test" we needed to stop the test right away. After sending students back to their classes and communicating with our Principal we find out that OSPI had found some mistakes in some of the DFA's (directions for Administration) and therefore, the test needed to be suspended because all test booklets, DFA's, listening CD's, EVERYTHING needed to be revised to see if there were more mistakes. That was Wednesday morning. The whole week went through and here we are...waiting to go back to test anytime time now...Fan-freaking-tastic!!! After all that work, time, and effort. But, like they say, one of the MUST of a teacher is flexibility , we had to take a deep breath (maybe two or three) and go back to our GLAD units.
